In occasione di ARTEFIERA OFF – Bologna 27-30 Gennaio 2012, prenderà  vita nel cortile di Palazzo Bevilacqua Ariosti, A.L.I.C.E.’S EYE, PUBLIC VIDEO ART progetto di Elastic Group of Artistic Research e Nicola Evangelisti a cura di Eli Sassoli de’ Bianchi ed Olivia Spatola. Come un organismo vivente, lo spazio geometrico rinascimentale diventerà una griglia prospettica e ottica che porta ad un viaggio mentale là dove l’architettura diventa concetto, pensiero matematico, fuga fisica. Lo spettatore si troverà ad abitare in una dimensione smaterializzata, in continua trasformazione, che ridefinisce la percezione dello spazio tramite l’occhio della macchina. Partendo da alcuni presupposti teorici di Derrick de Kerckhove e Marshall McLuhan con A.L.I.C.E.’S EYE, gli artisti intendono sovrapporre il disegno di una video architettura mentale alla fisicità del monumento in un sistema di multistrati visivi alternando la percezione dello spazio storico, facendolo vivere, battere, pulsare.

In occasion of ARTEFIERA OFF – Bologna 27-30 January 2012, will be presente in the court of Palazzo Bevilacqua Ariosti, A.L.I.C.E.’S EYE, PUBLIC VIDEO ART, a project by Elastic Group of Artistic Research and Nicola Evangelisti curated by Eli Sassoli de’ Bianchi and Olivia Spatola. As a living being the space of the Reinessance will be transformed in a perspective and optical display that leads to a mental trip, when the the architecture becomes concept, mathematical thought, physical escape. The viewer will be in a dematerialized dimension, in a continuous transformation, that redefines the space’s perception through the machine eye. Starting by some theoretical postulates of Derrick de Kerckhove and Marshall McLuhan, A.L.I.C.E.’S EYE aims at overlap the layout of a mental architecture to the monumental materiality in a system of visual multilayer, changing the perception of the historical space, a space that lives, beats, palpitates.
