Il taglio curatoriale della brasiliana Paula Alzugaray per l’elemento di novità della LOOP FAIR – Screen Barcelona che inaugurerà il 31 maggio: una Curated Section che consente una immersione nelle proposte artistiche selezionate da un professionista del settore. Per la decima edizione di LOOP, il focus proposto è sulle “relazioni intime tra sesso/violenza/affettività/criminalità” con una selezione di opere di artisti e gallerie latinoamericane, come Vermelho, Zipper Galeria, Barò Galerìa, che lavorano e ricercano a stretto contatto con il territorio in cui operano. In mostra, dal 31 maggio al 2 giugno, gli artisti: Cinthia Marcelle, Gisela Motta+Leandro Lima, Joao Castilho, Yoshua Okòn, Teresa Margolles.

The curatorship of the brasilian curator Paula Alzugaray is the new element of LOOP FAIR – Screen Barcelona: a Curated Section
that is an immersion in the artistic proposal selected by a professionist of the sector. In occasionof the tenth edition of LOOP, the focus proposed is on the intimate relationships between sex/violence/affettivity/ criminality with a selection of works of latinoamerican artists and galleries as Vermelho, Zipper Galeria, Barò Galerìa, that work on a research related to their geographical area. On show form 31 May to 2 June the following artists: Cinthia Marcelle, Gisela Motta+Leandro Lima, Joao Castilho, Yoshua Okòn, Teresa Margolles.

Pronta a invadere camere d’albergo e spazi di Barcellona la decima edizione del LOOP Fair e SCREEN Festival. Dal 17 maggio al 2 giugno uno dei più importanti appuntamenti internazionale dedicato alla videoarte interesserà 150 spazi della città presso i quali  si riuniranno professionisti del settore,  artisti e appassionati per scoprire le ultime novità in fatto di videoarte con il LOOP Fair, lo SCREEN Festival e per il primo anno il programma SCREEN Forum Pro. Il LOOP Fair si terrà dal 31 maggio al 2 giugno presso le camere del Catatonia Rablas Hotel di Barcellona, che  ospiteranno le opere video selezionate da 46 gallerie da 13 paesi del mondo. ‘New entry’ una Curated Section di gallerie latinoamericane a cura di Paula Alzugaray. Lo SCREEN Festival offirirà l’opportunità di visionare  oltre 1000 opere di videoarte di 500 artisti da 40 paesi del mondo in differenti location della città (dalle gallerie, ai club, dai bar ai ristoranti). Lo SCREEN Forum pro si terrà da 30 maggio al 2 giugno e sarà uno spazio di confronto e dibattito aperto sulle nuove sfide nella produzione di videoarte.

The tenth edition of LOOP Fair and SCREEN Festival is ready to invade Barcelona. From 17 May to 2 June, the famous international kermesse dedicated to videoart will involve 150 venues in the city where professionals, artists and art lovers will discover the  latest trends in videoart through LOOP Fair, SCREEN Festival and for the first year the SCREEN Forum Pro programme. The LOOP FAIR (31 May – 2 June) will be held in the rooms at the Catalonia Ramblas Hotel in Barcelona, hosting works selected from 46 galleries from 13 countries in the world. The year’s latest addition is a Curated Section by Paula Alzugaray that involves latinoamerican galleries. The SCREEN festival (17 May – 2 June) will present over 1000 videoart pieces by 500 artists from  40 countries in different spaces throughout the city. The first SCREEN Forum PRO (30 May – 2 June) aims to open up a space of discussion to identify the challenger in the field of art and audiovisual production.
